"Catch Fire" Leadership Overnight Retreat
Attention all Ward Camp Directors and Young Women Leaders:
If you haven't already caught fire about Girls Camp then join us at our Leadership Overnight Retreat so we can ignite your fire. This is your chance to meet other YW leaders in the stake and to share best practices and ideas for managing your ward at Girls Camp. We'll take you through the do's and don'ts of camp and provide a helpful leader's perspective for those of you who are first-time Girls Camp leaders.
The event will begin at 6:00 pm on Friday, March 22, 2013 and end at 12:00 pm on Saturday March 23, 2013.

Okay, so I didn't know where I was suppose to comment about the training, so I'm doing it here. Thank you, thank you for the beautiful home that allowed us sisters to be together to be trained, to learn, to bond, to increase our testimonies and to be reminded of our purpose in serving. I really feel we needed your home to be that foundation for us this past weekend. The spirit was definitely felt in your home.
ReplyDeleteThank you again for the Stake Camp Leaders for an amazing training. To be able to laugh, cry, bond and to feed off each others spirit and mostly to be led by the spirit, can't ask for anything better than that. I'm so fired up for Girl Camp. Who else is fired up? :) Love you sisters!

ReplyDeleteThank you sisters for an amazing overnighter!!! I had so much fun getting to know each of you. I loved the games, workshops, food and especially the company! I was so overwhelmed with the sweet and tender moments of testimonies shared. I came away from this experience with a greater appreciation for my calling, for the young women of this stake for my association with wonderful sisters and especially for the Savior. I have a greater desire to be a little better and to do a little more! I am on fire!!!!! Thank you! I love you all my new BFFS :) -Priscilla Beckstead
ReplyDeleteI have been edified, uplifted and inspired by our overnight retreat. From the spirit found in the beautiful home--so graciously offered for our use, to the delicious food and wonderful company, to the well planned-out program, to the very carefully prepared workshops and devotionals and finally to our FUN-FILLED games...I read somewhere that gratitude is the memory of the heart...this inspired retreat has left my heart filled with precious memories of gratitude...Thank you, Thank you...Thank You!!!I love you all...Can't wait to carry this spirit with us to Girls Camp!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Luisa, for coordinating such a wonderful retreat! It was an inspiring experience and we were so blessed to be able to hold it in such a beautiful setting, and lovely home. Everyone's testimonies were strengthened, and I have no doubt that everyone in attendance caught FIRE for Girls' Camp! I know I did!! I enjoyed getting to know all our wonderful leaders from the different wards and I couldn't be more excited for the Young Women in our Stake! They are going to have a blast at camp! This retreat was just a teaser to what I know will be felt and accomplished at MIA SHalom! Thank you again for your hospitality and love for the YW of our Stake!
